Inspiration for our tree stand came as we searched stores for sturdy working tree stand for trees, which would also look good. We were unsuccessful in our search, so we decided to design a functional, steady and good looking tree stand. Due to its design, watering is extremely easy with out the need to over reach under the tree. The product is made from an aluminum casting manufactured in a Finnish foundry. In addition to this also the the planning, design and casting mold equipment are produced in Finland. This tree stand is ideal for Christmas trees but why not use it for any other purpose as well, like during mid summer?
HARD features - Tree stand
The tree stand is an casting produced from aluminum in a Finnish foundry. Watering the tree is very easy due to the stand’s watering pool. There is no need to over reach under the tree to reach the watering cup and its easy to follow when water is running out. We have designed a water hole to the base of the cup where water can pour into the cup. The pool holds 2.5 liters of water at a time so watering intervals are fairly long.
If there are pets in the family who might drink from the watering pool, the water hole can be closed with a rubber plug included in the tree. In this case watering is done through the cup and water will not reach the pool. Fitting the actual tree onto the stand is easy. Due to a spike at the bottom of the cup, the stem of the tree remains stable and locking the tree in place is easy with three bolts.
