A BROILING BOARD WITH AN EFFICIENT WAY OF ATTAHING MEAT OR FISH

The broiling board is an old invention, but we further developed it a bit into an easy-to-handle fish cooking board. Our broiling boards are made of pine grown in Pirkanmaa. There are two holes about 60 mm deep at each end of the board. The threaded rods included with the board can be easily installed in these holes by lightly screwing them on. The rods remain firmly in place during the broiling of the fish. The threaded rods act as support legs for the broiling board. The board is easy to install firmly around the campfire by pressing the rods to the ground. The broiling of the fish is easy when the rods are mounted on both ends of the board. Then the brloing board can be turned over as needed to ensure even frying of the fish or meat.

A bit more user friendly broiling board

The fish is attached to the board with the included nails. As a result of product development and experimentation, we have found that using nails is an easier way than using wooden pins. With wooden pegs, it is difficult to fasten the fish on the broiling board, because it is laborious to map the holes in the pins under the fish and to pierce the fish. Fish fastened with wooden pegs may not stick properly to the broiling board. Wooden mounting pins are also flammable. The nails are also easy to wash after broiling.

Hardman Design has taken the traditional broiling board and made it a little more user friendly.
